The Portuguese Queen of Fado has lightened up a bit as she’s matured. Though she’s still far from a party girl, her melancholy is livened up here by the presence of Cuban pianist Chucho Valdes on one track, and schmaltzed up happily on a version of Charlie Chaplin’s "Smile."
